Jonathon Grapsas is the founder and director at flat earth direct.
Jonathon set up flat earth direct in 2011 to work with organizations that want to make real, societal change.
Jonathon has spent 15 years working with charities all around the world. After cutting his teeth in direct marketing in Melbourne, he did what most Aussies do and set off to live and work in the UK. It’s here he stumbled into fundraising, working with some of Britain’s most successful fundraising organizations such as the NSPCC while Account Director for award winning agency Pell & Bales.
After three years it was time to head home. Jonathon then began working with direct response agency Pareto Fundraising. After setting up and establishing Pareto’s Melbourne office, itchy feet once again set in. This time it was Canada calling. And Pareto’s North American branch was born, where Jonathon spent 3 years as Regional Director convincing Canadian and American charities that what works in far flung places like Australia worked there too. And it did.
After returning to Australia at the end of 2010, the time was right to take the plunge and set up the agency he’d always wanted to. And so was born flat earth direct.
If you’d like to chat to Jonathon about your unique fundraising challenge, please give him a shout on +614 0447 5551, or drop him a line at email@example.com
Sara and Jono have known each other for over a decade, having met in the UK when Sara worked at the NSPCC. Since that point, he maintains she has stalked him, even going to the lengths of immigrating to Australia. Sara, however, begs to differ, stating that she is here for her family, the wonderful people, the lovely weather and of course the many opportunities to put her fundraising knowledge and skills to good effect.
Sara has actually been fundraising all her life, as her school reports will attest, and specialised in development aid at Uni. She's a world renowned expert in the use of the telephone as a fundraising channel, as well as in the strategic planning of individual giving programs.
Outside of work Sara spends time with her family and loves to walk her fur baby, Mojo, in the reserves around her neighbourhood. She also loves to laugh, so at least you can hear her coming and get out of the way.
If you'd like to discuss fundraising with Sara, especially in regards to telephone campaigns, you can contact her on +614 2465 5118, or drop her a line at firstname.lastname@example.org

Paige Johnson is an account director.
Paige's start in the marketing world was textbook. After completing a double degree in psychology and marketing, Paige accepted a scholarship to join the Melbourne arm of a successful global advertising network. Six years later, Paige had gained industry experience in a number of agencies, across a wide range of clients, and in just about every medium known to man.
Paige's (presumably first of many) mid-life crisis hit in early 2013 and before she knew it, she'd downed tools and found herself travelling the world to see what else was out there.
Enter flat earth direct. Paige jumped at the chance to join such an inspiring team so focused on achieving the best results for their NFP clients. Paige is thrilled to be able to put her account management skills to better use with the passionate team at fed.
Paige describes herself as an overly-organised, stationery-loving, Bombers fanatic, who doesn't believe in a one-course meal.
If you would like to chat to Paige about how she can help you, give her a buzz on +614 0281 0909 or drop her a line at firstname.lastname@example.org

Margaux Smith is a senior account manager.
After gaining a post-grad in Fundraising from Toronto's Humber College, one of our resident Canadians spent two years in London working for one of the UK's top charity DM agencies, Bluefrog. As a copywriter in their creative department, she had the privilege of writing record-breaking packs for wonderful charities like Marie Curie, Blue Cross, and Parkinson's UK.
But as her visa came to an end, Margaux couldn't resist exploring another part of the world – and another side of fundraising.
Always eager for a challenge, she contacted Jonathon to ask if he'd take a chance on her in a completely different role – account handling. Thankfully, he agreed and in July 2013, Margaux moved to Australia to join flat earth direct. She's now getting the chance to put her strategic thinking, industry knowledge, and attention to detail to good use.
Beyond business hours, Margaux's a bit obsessed with learning as much as she can, while cuddling as many animals as possible.
If you'd like to talk nerdy to Margaux about anything fundraising, give her a call at +614 5234 6200, or drop her a line at email@example.com
And she's all over twitter at @margauxs – if you're into that sort of thing.
